Acute Pain Management

Acute pain is pain that comes on suddenly and lasts for a few weeks. Typically, acute pain is caused by some traumatic event that injures your body’s tissues. Chronic pain can be confusing, and it can prevent you from moving normally and concentrating on your daily activities. Often times, pain occurs when there is little or no tissue damage. Ankle Pain

Ankle pain may be due to injury to any of the ankle bones, or broken ligaments or tendons, several types of arthritis can also cause ankle pain. In rheumatoid arthritis, the body’s immune system attacks the joints, which can become red and swollen if not treated. Most types of arthritis have several causes. Problems with the spine, inflammatory disease, and other health conditions are common causes of back pain. It may arise due to muscle spasm and/or weak musculature. Balance disorder
